Because the Exchange House is located at the foot of Mount Bandai, many of its guests go hiking on Mount Bandai.

You can choose from three courses depending on your activity goals.

Happōdai Trailhead Round-Trip Course

The summit is 1,800 m high, and the starting point at Happōdai Trailhead is 1,200 m, so the elevation gain to the summit is about 600 m, making this a course with relatively little altitude difference.
On clear days, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Inawashiro from the summit.
